I am really happy that the photos and story conveyed the true energy of Port Louis and Caudan Waterfront.

Experiencing a place like a local always adds depth and meaning to the journey, and I am glad that feeling came through. If this inspires you to plan a trip to Mauritius, that would truly make my effort worthwhile.

I am really glad that this virtual journey can help and inspire others to explore Mauritius.
Supporting and sharing with the community has always been close to my heart.
Your appreciation truly motivates me to keep contributing. :folded_hands:t3:

Haha, you should have told me earlier that it was a casino.
I could have at least made a little money from there
Jokes aside, thank you so much for these beautiful words.
My love for Mauritius truly comes from the heart, and it goes far beyond just writing about it.
If there is ever anything beyond being an ambassador, please do consider me.
Honestly, once this Mauritius Diaries series is complete, I am planning to compile all the links and share them in one email with the Mauritius Tourism Ministry :grinning_face:
Those moments in Port Louis, at Caudan, and near the casino brought all the memories back to life.
Thank you @SwetaDhondoo for sharing those lovely moments again in comment, and for such a warm and thoughtful response.

Beautiful photos accompanied by a beautiful post @KashifMisidia . First of all my apologies for replying late, since I was traveling. Belated birthday wishes. A very immersive post and I enjoyed very much the Caudan waterfront through your pictures. Thanks for sharing the pictures and your experiences.

Yes our generation particularly converts the currency, calculate and compare with Local prices. (4Cs convert currency, calculate and compare) because for us money is very hard earned.

I am happy I explored Mauritius sitting at home.

First of all please accept my apologies for being late in wishing our dearest friend @KashifMisidia

a Very Happy and Special Birthday

I couldn’t help but reflect that during my visit to Mauritius in 2018, I missed experiencing the Metro, assuming it was not operational at the time (though I am not entirely sure). Seeing it now through your journey truly adds a new dimension to how the country has evolved.

Your travel journey and the way you have shared your experiences are of immense value to all of us in the community, especially for those who are planning to visit Mauritius in the future.

In fact, it would be an excellent destination for a future ConnecLive event.
Every detail you have captured offers practical insights as well as an emotional connection, making the entire narrative both informative and engaging.

A special note of gratitude to @SwetaDhondoo, whose presence clearly added comfort, ease, and joy to your travels. It is because of this seamless and enjoyable experience that your story comes across so vividly, almost as if we were all co-travellers alongside you, witnessing each moment firsthand.

What truly stands out is the way you have beautifully stitched together the many facets of the country: its culture, infrastructure, lifestyle, and local charm. This is not merely storytelling; it is an art supported by thoughtful observation and a deep understanding of how to connect with readers. There is a certain science behind presenting experiences in such a relatable and immersive manner, and you have mastered it remarkably well.

The visuals and descriptions of Port Louis Central Market and the Caudan Waterfront were nothing short of mesmerizing. I fondly remember spending time at the Port Louis Central Market during my visit, it strongly reminded me of Indian marketplaces, from the vibrant atmosphere to the familiar street food offerings, which made the experience even more special for me.

Thank you once again for sharing your journey so generously and for helping me relive my visit to this wonderful country. Your narrative has truly rekindled those memories and deepened my appreciation for Mauritius.
