Hello @Velvel
You have saved my post as a travel guide, and that is a matter of great pride for me.
For me, it is no less than a big success that the information I shared may help you in the future when you travel to Mauritius, which is my most favorite country and feels like home to me. I truly hope that one day you will definitely visit Mauritius, meet @SwetaDhondoo , and enjoy its beaches and beautiful landscapes.![]()

Thank you @KetanChhaniyara Bhai for reading so thoughtfully. Your words truly mean a lot to me. Mauritius stayed meaningful for me because of its people, values, and the sense of care for accessibility and sustainability. I’m glad those aspects came through in my experience and photos. I appreciate your encouragement and I look forward to sharing the next part of the Mauritius Diaries very soon.![]()
@Kumaarsantosh Bhai, Thank you so much for such generous appreciation. Your words truly encourage me.
Who can understand and describe a journey to Mauritius better than you, since you have experienced Mauritius yourself.
I truly hope you enjoyed your visit, and I’m sure you must have felt glimpses of your home country India while being there. Mauritius has that beautiful cultural connection.
I sincerely hope that you and other Indian friends will travel to Mauritius together someday.
I’m sure that visit will be even more special and enjoyable.
And yes, @SwetaDhondoo ’s support and hospitality made a big difference. I’m grateful for that and for friends like you who value and understand these experiences. ![]()
@SwetaDhondoo , thank you from my heart for these words. They touched me deeply.
Maybe you believe it easily, but others may not realize that among the biggest wishes of my life, two were very close to my heart.
One was to attend an official Google event, visit a Google office, and meet friends (it’s still pending in skies Lollzz) . The second, and the most important one, was to visit Mauritius at least one more time in my life.
It truly feels like God listened to me. I was given the chance to come to Mauritius again and, more importantly, to experience your incredible kindness, warmth, and hospitality.
Mauritius is as dear to me as my own country. In some aspects, it even feels closer to my heart. That is why I tried to write with complete honesty.
Still, this post, and even the upcoming series, cannot fully capture the peace, beauty, and emotions I felt while being there.
Seeing your reaction, knowing that you read every line and felt what I felt, means alot for me. That biggest smile you mentioned is exactly what I felt while writing.
Thank you for standing by me, for your friendship, and for opening your home and your island to me. I truly hope that just like 2025, we will meet again somewhere in 2026, InshaAllah. Mauritius will always feel like home to me because of people like you.![]()

No words, @KashifMisidia Bhai. With God’s grace and whenever time allows, I sincerely hope to revisit this beautiful country time and again. It has been a dream destination for me since 1987, when my elder sibling visited Mauritius representing India at the Cultural Summit during Sagar Mahotsav. That experience left a deep and lasting impression on my heart, and the dream only grew stronger over the years. Finally, in 2018, I was blessed to visit Mauritius myself with family, returning with a priceless treasure of memories and moments that I will cherish forever.
We are always with you, dear and respected @KashifMisidia.
As a high class performer, we are really proud of you…
Thanks for sharing our regards with our @SwetaDhondoo …
My loving regards to you both.
Most sincerely,

Wow, from exploring to guiding, what a gem! One thing I love about being a local guide, is when you visit a new place, its always on a to do list to make a difference before leaving that place. Imagine, you had to revisit Mauritius as a local guide and tell a story about it to the world through Google Maps, social media and bring it here for us to learn something. You are just Awesome sir @KashifMisidia . Thanks for such passionate story about Mauritius.
Thank you so much @Zuhralc , it was really a great day for me.
Soon I will share my experience in Nairobi as well ![]()
Amen for that ![]()
