I initially wrote a long reply thinking your initiative was about adding roads to Google Maps. But after reading it again, I realized you were actually proposing the idea of creating a Mentor Badge for Local Guides who are consistently involved in mapping activities in the whole Google Maps environment.
May I suggest reaching out directly to the Googlers who support and follow our community? They have a great sense of how to assign the right badge to the right kind of contribution.
A perfect example is the recent recognition of the “Road Mapping Champion” by @DeniGu and the whole team. It shows how closely they monitor our efforts and how committed they are to helping us build the best possible community.
But, if you were talking about roads… I’ll send you my previous message.

Hi @MarcoDavoli thank you so much for your words. Yes you are right this initiative based on overall map contributions and not only that it also has a Maps Awareness Program, which I will explain in details on this Saturday meet-up.
Ya it will be great if there will be an official badge based on this initiative. It will automatically boost this initiative to more LGs, and make it a great success. I don’t have any idea how to approach for that.
