Everyone has to go to Kashi for Moksha either Alive or after death as your ASH will come to be flown in Ganga ,River

Better come alive so that you too can view feel the ambience of Kashi/Manikarnika.

Hi @Anil6969 , here in South India, we too observe fast, till midnight. Many visit Shiva Temples, which will be open throughout night.

The decorations will be mind-blowing and bhajans and many events will take place.

The below is the picture taken on the day after Shivrathri. The origami flowers done by me.
