Yes @PrasadVR . That’s what you told us to check but my last one was so long ago. That’s why I gave examples of some more current emails I’ve been receiving with different titles.
I have the impression, this kind of mail is not sent periodically, but only when a certain threshold is reached. When you look at the examples here, the numbers all end either with …,500,000 or …,000,000. Besides the one of 7/9 mentioned above, I only found one more sent in November 2023.
After another search, I can confirm it was in 2023. I received an email in July about the number of places I added and then in November about the total views of the places that I added. So this won’t be a regular email because most of our activity likely relates to places that we didn’t add ourselves.
I’ve taken a look at this @AdamGT and I see now that the emails are about “places you’ve added”, which would probably explain why they aren’t a regular monthly communication. Most of us probably spend a lot more time adding photos, videos, reviews, and edits to places that have already been added by someone else, than actually adding new places ourselves. Having received my last one in November last year (which was after 5 years of contributing), my next significant milestone would probably not be this year.
(Some LGs with more opportunity to add new places may of course get their notifications more often than I would).
I’m anxiously looking forward to seeing the October Movers & Shakers @AdamGT. Now in the process of uploading my November information. Should we be delaying that a bit until you’re finished with the October data?
No not at all @tony_b. Everyone should proceed with checking their Maps contribution data and update star media data. Having moved to the new Connect, as @YuliiaZa has discovered, there is still a links issue when adding new star media and it has now moved to the 2nd top position on my to-do-list.
