While I track the number of views of all my photos daily, I never found an easy way to check the position on the list for each of them. I open the pin always shortly after uploading, to verify if they all appear under All, Newest and By Me. At that point, I would see if one of them did reach a high or even the the top position. Later on, I only do so occasionally, whenever I see unusual increase of the views.
If one of my photos did reach a high position, I never saw a difference between logged in and anonymous. I just checked one of my recent photos to this pin and saw it as the banner, that is top of the list, in both sessions.

Vous dites que « En consultant quotidiennement l’évolution du top 36 de tous les temps, ainsi que celui du top 36 publié après le 24 février, je constate très rarement des changements. » Mon interrogation, par rapport à votre constatation, est de savoir comment les photos de votre top 36 se positionnent aujourd’hui sous leurs épingles Maps respectives ? Sont-elles dans les 5 premières ? Ont-elles été rétrogradées par Google ?
Now, I understand, @claude_richard. Good question, I will check for that. For now, I can only tell you, my “star photo” with the highest number of views did not even appear at all on the pin where I posted it. I guess, it was on some different pin (e.g. the city) for some time in a high position which it already lost in fall 2023 and after that never increased anymore.
I quickly checked the one with most views posted after February 2024. It appears on position 9 of the pin on both sessions, logged in and private.
The second most viewed of all time, doesn’t appear among the first 10.

What happened in September?
C’est une observation basique et un peu fastidieuse à réaliser, mais elle permet d’expliquer pourquoi il n’y a brusquement plus aucune vue sur une photo. J’ai vu ça récemment pour 2 photos de restaurants qui avaient dépassé le million de vues, et brusquement le compteur a cessé de tourner, Google les ayant rétrogradées.

@AdamGT, I am confused. Your math aligns with mine. Is the issue the date? I don’t believe the system was available for the 30th. I believe I updated my video views and my star video views at the same time and I did make the video views board.
