This is a very special museum in Mexico City, because it´s located at the basement of an iconic monument for the Mexico´s history, the Mexican Revolution National Monument.
This museum, despite its small size, contains valuable and concise information on various aspects of the Mexican Revolution, a pivotal episode in the construction of modern and contemporary Mexico. Its different rooms chronicle the various episodes of this crucial period in 20th-century Mexican history and explain the origin of this iconic Mexico City monument.
It is important to note that the remains of the main figures in this armed movement, which introduced social reforms to the country’s Constitution, are located within the four pillars supporting this monument.
The video in particular shows a special sculpture that represents the regular people who took part in this movement a the beggining of 20th century.
