My star video, a screenshot of which is shown below, is of Mezethes Greek Taverna. It’s a short, only 11 second video taken of the frontage and courtyard dining area of the taverna.
Establishment in 2003, this family-run operation is housed within one of the historic bluestone buildings of the Salamanca Arts Precinct. The name “Mezethes,” meaning “many little dishes” or “to graze” in Greek, reflects its focus on offering a variety of small, flavorful dishes—a style of dining inspired by the way Greeks enjoy meals at home.
Set in the vibrant Salamanca Square, the restaurant benefits from its location within a bustling cultural and historic area known for its sandstone architecture and proximity to the Salamanca Market.
I shot the video on my faithful Google Pixel 3XL and while I took it in March 2024, it seems like I didn’t upload it onto Maps until early January 2025.
