4) Is it my best photo?
I wouldn’t actually pick this photo as my best photo uploaded for that specific furniture store. I have others better ones with different landscapes in some public parks, private golf areas and inside the sport cars.
5) Why do I think it’s my “star photo”?
This photo is a view of the store front of a furniture shop which is in the basement. So really interesting because shop invisible from the street. I think this is a star photo because of presence as 1st photo of the shop on Google Search & Google Maps since May 2019.
6) I think the important factors that contribute to making a top photo are:
The popularity and the communication created about the POI are important and also the featured photo for the POI. This shot shows a good store front view of this location with good lighting and orientation (Landscape mode).
7) The camera I used to take my “star photo” is: Samsung S9+ Mobile phone

Where is it:**it was taken in Belgium (Europe) and more precisely at Tour & Taxis place in center of Brussels, where there are offices, appartments, restaurants and a nice wide park with area to do sport and some relaxation places. This place is becoming a little town in the City

This photo of a tiny, pristine stream allows me to escape into a northeast New York state forest mentally. It beckons me in my imagination during winter cold to take off my boots and wade upstream to hidden Sagamore Lake.
Tiny and hidden aptly describe many other streams and lakes in the huge Adirondack Park Preserve. Here in the secret places, rovers are apt to see more wildlife than people. A favorite way to indulge my love of these woods is by staying at Great Camp Sagamore, built on a small peninsula into its mountain lake.
I know it might be too late but I’d love to share my star photo for the month of January, 2022
As you can see, my star photo this time is the front part of a shop taken way back in 2018 with 3,649,478 views as of Jan 12, 2022. Obviously not my best shot, as I remember taking this one after buying some cute emojis pillows in this place, while waiting for my bus in Astoria, NYC.
My star photos have been changing slightly among three top photos: a section in the hospital, entryway of a restaurant and this one. Interesting to see How the views keep changing among these three photos

@jayasimha78 if you skip to Section 19 in the data entry form you will get to the question headed 2022 Star Photo post and then choose the third option “I need to update the star photo screenshot link”. Then, as you’ve already got the link, you add it in Section 23 and then skip through to the end making any other changes along the way if necessary (e.g. star date, type of star photo etc) and end by submitting your form 
It should only take you a couple of minutes.

This is the exterior view of a Mexican restaurant in Richardson, Texas, USA. This is not my best nor the most liked picture. I understand why it is most viewed as the photos is featured since Sep 21 and it’s still there. The restaurant is quite popular here, which explains the most views.

Regarding the Top 100 leaderboards, if you haven’t already done so then I suggest that you read the leaderboard documentation. Then read the posts and comments and take special note of, and try to understand why you are being referred to good example contributions like in the opening of this post where I say:

Ask yourself why are the specific contributions of these Local Guides being mentioned and those of others are not? With comments and replies within the posts, even though they may not involve you, it’s good to read them all and by this learn from the advice being given to others regarding their contributions. Yes indeed, learn by doing and I’m learning too and by this improving my contributions both here on Connect and on Google Maps.
It’s great to hear that you are willing to learn and not resistant to advice…and that you will do your best. OK now regarding your data entry for the leaderboards, believe me you have done really well. Just a couple of minor things for you to correct and you can do this by editing your responses using your data entry form:

Die von dir aufgezählten positiven Beispiele zum Starfoto hatte ich mir selbstverständlich bereits angeschaut. Tat dies jedoch nochmal
Tatsächlich kann ich daraus sehr gut lernen. Zum Beispiel, meine Fotos nun auch quer, also horizontal aufzunehmen.
Bisher tat ich dies meist hochkant, sah einfach im WhatsApp Status besser aus, wenn diese nicht erst beim drehen des Gerätes im Vollbild angezeigt wurden 
Und bei deinem Formular, ich fand es seeehr angenehm, dass du zum Schluss fragtest wie viel Zeit das Ausfüllen in Anspruch genommen hat… Und das du die “mehr als 30 Minuten” nicht weiter aufgeschlüsselt hattest
OK, jetzt gebe ich es zu, es waren DEUTLICH mehr
Aber egal, ich werde zunehmend besser werden.
Zum Beispiel habe ich bereits heute in den frühen Morgenstunden gelernt, dass es sinnvoller ist, einen langen Beitrag zwischendurch einmal zu kopieren…
