Yes I’ve responded to your points @ErmesT . The original article had addressed all of the issues you raised but tell me what else I’m supposed to do, if there Is anything remaining to be done.

The article was originally picked up by moderators on the grounds that it was a commercial post but they were reassured that it was about a non profit, charitable organisation.

In the original post did you also included a link to the website of the business? If so, this can be the reason why the team highlighted a possible “commercial” issue.
I’m in a non profit too, so I fully understand what you mean. For years I never mentioned it in Connect, till Google decided to do it by itself, when they gave me (and to my wife) the title of Guiding Stars for sustainability, and Google Earth wanted to mention us for “one of the five best project of the year (2022)” built with Google Earth.

Yes that’s correct @ErmesT and thanks for explaining the reasons. The other thing they didn’t permit is a link to a Blog so I have to keep reminding myself not to promote a Blog.

Je ne parle pas bien le français, @cuicani . Je l’ai étudié à l’école il y a plus de 50 ans, mais je n’ai jamais eu l’occasion de le pratiquer et j’en ai oublié la plus grande partie. mais quand je le lis, je comprends presque tout

Hi @ErmesT That’s wonderful news! While virtual meetups are a fantastic way to connect people globally, I believe it would also be a great initiative to organize country- or state-wise celebrations for this special occasion. Since Local Guides help people discover new places and restaurants, it would be meaningful for them to come together in person at a new venue, connect with fellow guides, and celebrate this remarkable 10th anniversary as a community.

Love this idea of the 10 year Global Village @ErmesT. What a beautiful way to put it, and I like the idea of sharing our stories and who we reached out to- it reminds me of a spiderweb and how we each get interwoven together in our journeys.
