However, please note that after the next update of the Top 100 Star Photos Leaderboards is posted, you will need to post your star photo in the September post of the leaderboards as you will need to do this monthly. So a good tip is to post your star soon after the Star Photos leaderboard is posted, bookmark your entry and then whenever you like through the month, and certainly just before the data entry closes for that month, you just update that same entry without having to change and update your star photo Connect post link :-). Do all the “dirty work” when time is on your side and chillax when it’s not and the the countdown is fast ticking away! Having said all this, as amended here, I’m leaving the data entry form for a few more hours.
Just after 4PM (AEST) today, 28 August, I temporarily closed the data entry form for joining and updating of data on the Star Photos Leaderboards. If you visit the form you will see the message below but please don’t panic and contact me thinking it’s a mistake It will be re-opened again ASAP
I’m repeating this message here as it seems some are having issues with joining/updating there star photo on this leaderboard.
As everyone who reads what I post here will know, I extended the close-off time at least 3 times but still some have had issues as since finally closing the data entry form around 4:00PM AEST on 28 August, I’ve been getting quite a lot of private messages. Please do not send me private messages for issues that you are having. instead post them on the relevant Post and I will, as I always have, answer you. The reason why I ask this, is that your question and my answer may be of interest and help someone else with the same issue and so it is much more efficient of my time as I answer only once but help many. Have no fear, as I said, I will reply and try to help everyone. All is good.

So I got some things wrong, I guess. I tried to edit my response but couldn’t.
Hitting Edit gave me:
“This form does no longer accept responses”, something along those lines.
Rather than me telling you what the right link is, read the instructions again as it’s important that you work this out now as you will need to be able to do it again in the future
@gulgi yes, read up on some of my comments above and you will understand why. If you have specific questions then ask. But don’t panic, all is good, just work out what you need to update and how to do it and you’ll soon be able too.
That’s the correct link so well done on that step. However, I cannot edit your or anyone else’s data as this requires that I log into your Google Account. So only you can edit your data! But don’t panic, as per the schedule, you will be able to do so yourself when the data entry form is re-opened, and this will happen very soon after the Photo Views (Interim) leaderboards are posted. I will post a message here when that happens so keep checking in
@RohitGahlot you may not be aware but there is a 1000 photo limit per Local Guide here on Connect. Do a search here on Connect for “1000 photo limit” and you will learn more about this. And also, re-read the section of the data entry email to learn how you can avoid unnecessarily adding to your photo view count on Connect

Just a picture I took of a bike business that didn’t have a picture before this, and although this wasn’t great, well… 3M+ views (in 4 years).
Updated 2021-12-02. 3,489,865 views now.
