Hello all,
As mentioned in my update of 31-08-2020 10:51 AM, while updating the leaderboards on that day I hit a character limit for posts on Connect (I think it’s 100,000 characters and my guess is that the limit is based on HTML characters). Today I struggled to enter even one new entry and we have 6 entries to add!!! Something dramatic had to happen to allow adding more entries. I gave this a lot of thought and today I decided to split the first post into two parts. Essentially I’ve spun off the Leaderboard of Average Photo Views into its own post (see: the new Leaderboards of Photo Views post). A plus that comes out of all this pain is that…
I have now also been able to breakdown the leaderboard of average photo views into individual leaderboards for each Local Guide level. However, rather than doing this in the opening post and run the risk of hitting the Connect character limit again, I have adopted the idea suggested by @StephenAbraham . Because I wanted to have consecutive presentation of these new leaderboards, this was quite a tricky operation. BasicallyI needed to claim the first 10 comments in the new post for the 10 new leaderboards before any other Local Guide added a comment to the post, and we all know that there are some LGs here who are quite quick to add comments on new posts
Anyway I managed to do it. From this date on those interested in participating in the most viewed (star) photo study will do so in this post and those that want to join in the Average Photo Views study will need to enter their details in the new Leaderboards of Photo Views post.
**Update:**Today, 8 September 2020 at 07:00 EST, I updated our Leaderboards of Most Viewed Photos for the entries by @Andrey_K , @tokyographer , @PaulJahn and @Tushar18 . Please check the leaderboards for any errors or omissions.
