Greek food highly depends on the region but there are several staples you’ll likely find anywhere
- Spanikopita - this is spinach and feta in a filo parcel
- Pork Souvlaki with Tzatsiki (Aussie Greeks tend to do lamb more than pork) - meat on skewers with yoghurt, garlic and cucumber sauce
- Greek Salata - Cucumber, tomatoes, red onion, Kalamata olives and feta
- Sartheles Psites - baked sardines with garlic and oregano and perhaps some greens
- and for desert Galaktoboureko - sweet custard in filo with sugar syrup

Thank you @PaulPavlinovich for sharing the food list with me!
I googled the names and found that I’m actually pretty lucky to have tried some of them, like the Greek Salata and Galaktoboureko. As for the other three, thePork Souvlaki with Tzatsiki looks so good, defo a must-eat for a carnivore foodie like me. I’m curious about Sartheles Psites as well. Will defo need to try it once I find a decent Greek food place in my city.

Hola @CAAG1959 ,
Gracias for the comment! I’m glad that you enjoyed the post.
The boneless rib is one of my favorites too! It’s well seasoned and goes well with rice (though we didn’t order rice but with only porridge lol)!
Cheers!
