Jackfruit vegetable is used in every auspicious occasion in our place (Purvanchal). At least it is used in my house. & yes dear TG @TravellerG @LathaKN chechi ko PRANAM :folded_hands:

Note:
Fresh Jackfruit is not needed…also, it can be fully ripe too.

Wow this looks delicious and tempting. We in goa prepare something similar and call it as ‘dhonas’ in konkani which is prepared using ripe jackfruit,rawa(semolina) , jaggery and grated coconut.
