Hello! I helped a LOT while in Brasil, streets are missing, roads that have changed names and transformed into 3 5 years ago are not up to dqte… a LOT of business closed and were left open after pandemic making it harder for ones with new business prove previous was closed and have theirs listed. I helped as much as I could, but in order to fix a stretch of 100 kms (4 new road names) I had to try 3 times and STILL only approved half with half still in old name
To close old business, a waterfalls closed in 2020 after a death, and open the natural reserve waterfall that is more eco sensitive and well managed, was embarrassing. Took a month for it to go through Google Maps!
Problems that in the US are quickly solved I saw myself being denied updates without any explanation, and SO MUCH work to be done ! Please, I would to be still considered for Road Mappers. I travel the entire world and frequently find big fixes to be made, having a tool that makes it easier to fix roads, it’s names, etc, would be fantastic!

@Mike_G Thank you, but I think most comment here without trying that link to form. If you read my comment you will notice I did try and it’s how I know this is not up to date… Signups are paused ! So I wrote a comment about all the work I did road mapping in Brasil and took three times to,have one (many miles of road) just partially approved even thou even APPLE MAPS has been up to date for years. That is right and I said it, thanks to lacking google vehicles and road mappers in Brasil Apple is way ahead and people don’t trust Google maps because a lot of the info has not been updated since pre pandemic in 2019. I’m traveled enough there and kept my notes to finish a bunch of updates once it wasn’t so hard to get them approved for no reason… As I. said even apple maps is correct, it is kind of embarrassing trying to help fix Google maps and keep waiting just not to be approved when owners of the area kept showing me their iPhones with proper address and all saying they didn’t understand why tourists couldn’t find the waterfall (I didn’t have the heart to explain that if visitor user pc or Android they would see a different map, a google one, which hasn’t been updated for 5 years).
It is hard to try to volunteer helping better things in your native country, and even when doing for free, still be barred by technology and bots (because I know no human oversaw my update as it was perfect)

It is difficult to add roads in Albania, because we have to create support ticket. i Hope google can choose some of us with the will to add these roads in google maps. Albania has changed a loooot during these 5 years and even the center of Tirana is out of date.
Hope someone can assist me as local guide leven 6 to be eligible to add roads.

I live in a new residential area. Many new roads to be drawn and named. One of the roads appears in Google Maps with an incorrect name. I have completed the correction (inserted the correct name) 4 times - but the correction is not recognized. How do I force the fix through?
Their are changes in some roads and inaccurate details where I live and some of the people I visit in my family. I drove 12 hours straight to Dallas once and so I can tell you I relied on Google maps a lot. If anyone has anymore spaces on it, I want to make some hiking trail maps too for Google. I love hiking and know of hiking trails in areas to help you guys out. I would love to update my Google maps for driving and hiking trails. Is their a feature to be added for hiking trails anytime soon?

There’s nothing we can tell you as the program isn’t accepting new applications.
But you can also draw roads directly at maps.google.com. Its a longer approval process, but with a bit of patience you can get results.
There are two different ways of adding roads @bibhu05
If the limitations on Road Mapper don’t work for you, then you can go directly to Google Maps, click the three lines at top left, then click Edit the Map, and finally click Add or Fix a Road.
I know how to add road. Hundreds of edit still pending and no one approved it.When i use Mapmaker it was easy and edits were approved within 24 hours. Thats why i told waist of time.
Today I received 6 approval emails for the first time in 8 days. During those same 8 days I drew 106 more new roads.
In that same period, I did 20 Challenges totalling 17.2 Km on Road Mapper, and half have already been approved. The remainder will probably be approved right after the weekend.
