Sharing custom lists is a great new feature. I always have people ask me about my fav places since I
am such a foodie. Thanks!
I have now the new Maps (with all new colorful markers).
Still missing out on the lists though.
Only starring places is possible, not saving to lists. Is that feature still being rolled out or is there sth. wrong here?
Been waiting for this, and have been using it. Thank you!
This really excites me, so I made a whole bunch of great lists for dining etc. Yeah, for those living in reach of the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex here. KurtwVs

I’m disappointed that I still miss out on the lists on Desktop. Don’t understand what takes so long. Is this intended, @HelloJess ?
when i open google map autometicliy net speed is slow. What is tha cause of probleme plz telme.
Great function to create custom lists. I love it.
But it would be perfect if I could set a different colour for every custom list I created! So I can see on maps by the colour to which list the location belongs.
Great function thanks your advice
Took quite a while for me to show up, but now I have it! Yay! Thx @HelloJess and team.
Thanks, @HelloJess ! I created a list and would like to share it publicly by url via a blog. Am I understanding currectly that anyone can then add places to the list once they follow the list? If this is true, can someone who is following the list also edit the list…or, is the list creator the only one who can edit a list?

Well done for this new feature.
It’s always great when new features and functions are added to improve the overall ability of the app. Keep up the great work!
@HelloJess This is a great feature. I’ve been using custom lists for a couple of months. One of my lists has alot of places (700) and I am finding the usability of large lists can be improved. For me, I can see all of the places on the map but for end users that I’ve shared the list to, they only see the places in batches and it paginates as they scroll through them. Is there a way for them to view them all as well? Or at least paginate through the places in the currently viewed area that the user is actively viewing on Google Maps? Can authors have the ability to export this to KML?
It would also be great to choose a colour for custom lists so that if you can overlay several types on one map with a visual indicator to which list they belong to.
Hi @HelloJess , how long will G Suite users can manage and create lists in Maps? I am using G Suite account, until now i can’t manage and crate list in Maps.
Great fully thinking
Never tried using desktop ![]()
Hope it will be as amazing as in app itself.
Thanks
