What I love about being a Local Guide: I love that I can help people find new places, decide what to eat, where to go. My photos don’t have to be perfect, but I share what my eyes see with a lot of affection.
My favorite thing to explore: Historical places, parks, and unique spots are my favorites. I enjoy talking to the locals and asking about the history of a place, whether it’s a restaurant, café, or gallery, and learning interesting facts. So, my reviews and photos are a big part of what I share.
Fun fact about me: I’m fortunate to have been named a Google Developer Expert in Cloud and a Women Techmakers Ambassador. With the travels I take to help the community with highly technical talks, I take the opportunity to fill my Maps with photos. I almost always take pictures of public restroom entrances.

My Google map contribution story started when I stated my university education in a semi remote area , it was a polytechnic changed to into a university.
I have difficulty in navigating the campus, in the love to help people, so they can have it easy to navigate the campus, I started adding location to map, and had up to 1k views in less than a year(This shows I’ve helped 1k+ people navigate easily)
I’m proud of myself.

What I love about being a Local Guide: I love being able to use Maps to visit new places, eat great food, have new experiences, and now I get to be part of a wonderful community! It feels great to help others find great places out here to eat or have a good time.
