@mikejbb and @greenechen the insta360 to GSV direct is a nightmare, I’m testing now different apps to make it better. Do you advise pano2vr? I’m testing panoskin, tourmake and gothru…
Thanks for the support.

Yes! Advise pano2vr,better workflow for GSV,
U can modify the photo GPS position by drag into the map(map viewer, support google map server…),although the photos without geotag!
Just upload the project to GSV directly,
U can get support in their ggnome forum and learning video…
Make 300 photos virtual tour, take about half hours to edit, modify, create link…and upload!
And U can modify the projects anytime as what U wanna do…
U can try Pano2vr beta ver.6.1…
@greenechen but if you use interval shooting only the first shoot get the GPS and I need to manual add for all the others, tjhis is very time consuming. How you do it? Do you use timelapse video? what settings?
Sorry about my poor English!
I try shooting different mode with insta360 one x,
don’t use the interval shooting as U know lt,
GSV no support Insta360 Timelapse video mode,But GoPro with trailblazer can do it!
There was 2 way :
1.Advise U set insta360 interval shoot (3-5sec) ,(don’t use app, always crashing).and open gpslogger app, then combine photo and gps use gsyncpic freeware,U can get what U need, import to the
pano2vr! Remember the big button side must face U,If not ,U will get wrong orientation in Pano2Vr!
but mostly, I must use insta360 studio export 360 panorama photos every 3 sec.(use macrorecorder),geosetter is google freeware to geotag all photos,(better with google map API)!
Let me know what Ur opinions…
Hey guys, I see a lot of people have issues uploading GSV videos from the Insta 360 One X to Street View, including me.
Is anyone still able to successfully upload their GSV videos? I’ve been trying for the past few days and they keep failing.
I’m using the Android Google Street View app and after the GSV upload is complete from the Insta 360 One X app, I check the GSV Android app and I see my uploads are “still processing”:
If I click on the pending uploads, nothing happens, however if I use the iOS Google Street View app and click on them, it opens a new screen with thumbnail previews of my uploaded route. At the bottom of the list of thumbnails it says “No images were approved”, and if I click on one of the thumbnails, it opens in the 360° viewer but the image is black (no photo shows).
After 24 hours my uploads that were “still processing” are removed from the list entirely, so I assume they are rejected but I am not given any reason as to why.
Is there any special trick to get the Insta 360 One X GSV video upload to Street View working?
Thanks.
@greenechen I’ve waited days and they have disappeared from the app so I assume Google has rejected them or there is some bug and the processing failed.
If you use interval shooting every 3 seconds, why do you need Macrorecorder? Insta 360 Studio can batch export the interval photos right? Or do you use Macrorecorder to geotag all the photos?
If I record Video video mode with GSV~
But always can’t upload successful~
So I have export the panoroma photos from the original video,
I use macrorecorder autoexec insta360 studio export function…every 3sec!
then regeotag all photos with geosettter
@greenechen How do you export the panorama photos from the original video using Insta360 Studio? I can only export it as a video.
good question…
When U import original video files,
run insta360studio,
pause the video…
Click the camera icon(screen capture)
U will get the panorama photos…
Amazing function!But no gps information!
but for one hour video that is very time consuming
1hr video file?! 5.7k 30fs .nearly 50GB
OMG!
I can’t image how to share to GSV!
Yes,very time consuming!
But U can’t waste the video files,so I advise u export panorama by screenshot…
It easy for geotag ,group some photo & mark the position, drag each photo on the map!(Use getsetter)
The longest video I shoot ,just 20mins!(sure…can’t export to GSV)
U export frame by frame manual mode?
I found some mouse logger software(macrorecorder…),
and duplicate the scripts,
autorun loop repeat…
export frame by frame…
nightmare… then is better to do interval shooting… and sync the geotag after?!?
I did a test now with 22 interval shooting photos, geotag after and already sent them to SV.
Will tell after what was the result.
VF
@greenechen Hmm yeah I knew about the screenshot function of Insta360 Studio but this just saves a flat image (an exact screenshot of the current frame) so it doesn’t save a 360 photo. Are you saying that you are uploading flat images to Google Street View instead of 360 photos?
yes
Not a flat image!just try screen capture, and view the image with GoPro player!
Yes!interval shooting is the best way for me!Before insta360 show the solutions.
But I was too foolish to believe insta360 one x…always try shooting video upload…
Does have any software can upload videos (with geotag) to GSV!
