@jayasimha78 Thanks Jay, they are pretty tasty. Let me know if you give them a try!
@JustJake that was the lemoncella cannoli, hence it’s distinct yellow color.
I guess that I have just enough control issues, that some part of me enjoys drawing out that last photo as eager fingers begin to reach for the dessert? But, I’m waiting as well so
Here’s a dessert that needs no introduction… Know where it’s from?
It was both @JustJake As soon as I saw the box I recognized The Cannoli our Boston friends who we had met on a cruise and became instant friends, and cruised 8 times with them were kind to us and put us up for 3 days before we left on a cruise from Boston to Quebec City, Here was our highlights from Boston
So @Mikeinthefalls I did make them today . Mine turned out larger much like Hockey Pucks, but they were so good and were a hit with my daughter’s family, One grandson loved them and the picky one even said they were good. It was such a success I have to make them again next Thursday when my son comes down.
I actually used a smoked meat loaf which my son had made me, so tasty, I’ll make them a tad smaller next time. thank you for this recipe. And look out for my cooking post " What’s Terry cooking Tonight?"
This is fantastic! @TerryPG
I’m so glad to see you made them and even more so that they were a success. Yours are definitely larger then mine, but when it comes to food - there’s no such thing as too much of a food thing lol.
You even got the picky grandkid to eat them, that’s impressive. Very glad that the recipe worked out for you and was a hit
I like the idea of the meatloaf variation.
@Stephanie_OWL Is there a German food that’s similar to these? @TerryPG has already made a Canadian variation and is planning a What’s Terry Cooking post, interested to see what you have to say!
Wuhuuuuu… helllooow Chef @Mikeinthefalls … look at that Papas rellenas, sooo yummy! You look so comfy in the kitchen and can definitely create many wonderful food. The recipe looks like our kroket kentang, with seasoned mince beef inside and covered by mashed boiled potatoes. For sure, it’s delicious.
Look forward to seeing more recipes from you
Hello, hello @indahnuria Thanks for checking out my kitchen cooking, I’m glad to read that you think they look yummy!
You know I had to do some research and find out what kroket kentang are and - Wow! They really are incredibly similar. I may have to make a variation that’s like those, soon.
I have an idea for my next culinary creation, stay tuned
Excellent! @Stephanie_OWL You made them, also! I’m sorry to hear that it’s stormy and rainy there. Hopefully they brought some sunshine to your day
