Wah.. another creative type @ISAIKBALULSURUR !! Great to see this post as I’m always interested in design and organising related posts! I love the idea of the passport, rundown pass and the regional flags!! Great use of the balloon sticks!!!
Really great ideas that I hope other communities can also learn from and emulate!
When I co-organised EuroMeetup2024, we had similar gimmicks and activities to get attendees actively participating in the various events. We didn’t use the passport method but used stickers that they would win based on different challenges and they would stick the stickers on their attendee pass. You can find out more in this recap post.
Also, why no participation from Team Indonesia in the community logo/t-shirt challenge?!
Next year for Connect’s 10th Birthday, ya!

Hi @AdrianLunsong Thank you so much for your kind words! I’am truly honored that you enjoyed the ideas we used for the meet-up; your encouragement is a huge motivation for us.
Regarding the community logo/t-shirt challenge, that’s a very fair question! The main reason for my non-participation is that I was a solo contributor from 2016 until early 2024. I only began actively joining and learning about the Local Guides Connect community in 2025, read my story since join volunteer Meet-Up Nusantara 2025 My Recap . I simply didn’t know how or where to join the community challenges before then.
I will definitely read your fascinating recap of the Euro Meetup 2024! The idea of using stickers for challenges sounds brilliant and is a great learning point for me.
Thank you again for all your insights and support for the Indonesian team!
