Interesting post @TerryPG and thank you for making me aware of it. What do you say about contributing the photos individually to a POI and then collectively in a video
[/quote]
AdamGT It’s basically what I am doing. Pretty well all my foodie highlight videos were from my photos taken over the years.
Posting at the same time makes sense as well. Most new POI’s I take now I rely on videos to create the movie highlight video rather than the photo highlight movie.
I have been tracking all these videos for various stats and by the end of the month I will post a breakdown of trends I see working.
Of course I will post results here.
I started seriously about 7 months ago and now have over 200 of these videos posted now. A couple more both movies are skyrocketing as well.
Just to clarify @TerryPG, so the very same photos that you post individually to a POI are then posted again as a group, possibly with other photos, in the form of a video? Hoping you can see the point I am making!
Thanks for the examples @TerryPG. So it isn’t a smooth continuous video then. More like a collage of photos being automatically clicked through. And meanwhile, those same photos may have been uploaded separately and available to click on manually.
I was recently in Dallas and had dinner at The Henry. The place had so many little hidden gems to photograph, I knew it’d be perfect for trying out your highlight reels. This video earned over 20,000 views in a day before petering out!
That’s great news @JustJake I am glad you tried it. It was probably on the Explore page.
Great video I like it.
I was thinking of you yesterday when I was talking videos of a golf course. I have been experimenting with a few of them. Explore loves golf courses. Our golfing season is short. May/Oct. , but I think yours may be all year round.
Try taking a few short videos at one, make a highlight video and done. Especially if you have anymore PGA tourneys in your state.
This is a great idea, @TerryPG. Scottsdale is filled with courses. Though, I’ve been banned from most for breaking windows of homes on the right side of the fareways, cart antics, and general tomfoolery. I do like the concept of stitching together videos rather than just stills.
Wow… excellent explanation, dear @TerryPG Ji…
I tried & created… your explanation is very wonderful…
I could create my first highlight video in a few minutes…
Thank you so much…
So glad you liked it and tried it @TravellerG . Please share with as many guides as you can, over the next few months and lets fill up @AdamGT 's Video leaderboards.
