I have come across a Google Maps reviewer (Local Guide - level 7 or level 8), who is blatantly copying everything from various websites in his reviews, and his photos are from the Internet.
Please let me know how I can share the profile name with you.

I have reported and succeeded to delete multiple private apartments etc multiple times… I think it’s just fun to hunt those locations against the rules. 
Maybe there is little bit cop in me.
But one thing what annoys me too, is those map marks, witch are in totally wrong place. I just used one day in city central m, just moving those in right places… And that was only one shopping centre

I have come across a certain local guide who is high up i think level 8 or 9 and his or her reviews are not accurate as I visited some of the shops in question and can send photos of them . I think the local guide is sending reviews from common knowledge but had not been there. If I report this then he or she maybe banned which is not my objective as the other reviews are good but those other s he is doing a disservice to the owners by discrediting what he has not seen. Is there another way to inform him to correct his reviews without him being banned. @FelipePK @AngieYC @

They have a name, mobile number (not landline) and website. It doesn’t mean they are tour company. I have called them as ask details such ask tour information and Sri Lankan company procedure, then he (Sachithra) shouted. I made review with 1-star. Firstly told me as a terrorist and then he managed to remove my review. Why it is not tour agency? 1. All tour agencies should register under Sri Lankan tourist board, and you can see all tour agents at. http://www.srilanka.travel/travel-agents where you cannot find Gimhana Tours 2. It must have Business Registrar of Company number. This is my second post, and no one seems to help me. Do I want to report somewhere else? @PoliMC @FelipePK (Is this right way of tagging users?)

In this case there are a few possibilities that you can do. You can first check if the phone number is correct or if the place actually exist there. Both of the option you can send a suggestion to be update the phone number or to inform that this place is close or doesn’t exist. =)

Hello all,
I have found a location which is non-existent. However there is no option on Google Maps for “suggest and edit” for this place. Can you please help or advise? This place does not exist at the location and should be deleted. The correct location is just nearby it. I have mentioned both the places below.

You can report a place that doesn’t exist on the map via the the “send feedback” option. This can be found almost at the bottom of the hamburger menu on Google Maps.
When pressing the “send feedback” you’re presented with 5 options. Here you should use the “wrong information” and then choose the point of interest you wish to report.

Sir my question is that if someone change the real name of a place and also fake name approved by Google map. How to stop it?
Regarding this case i already sent two place names. One is changed with real name and other one is pending.

Hello guys, one of my friends start his business and unfortunately, there’re some haters in town that leave bad review/rate on his location on Google Map which really affected his business.
He did claimed owner of his location business, did flag the fraud feedback/review and did report to Google from his side but there is no response yet, and these bad feedback still there on map.
We know it’s fraud review and from haters because all the 1* rate just about 1 minute from each other (the time the rate submitted) and they all happened in the midnight. Plus, the accounts submit these bad rate just created in the same day, and in those account history, there is only 1 review/rate and that’s for my friend business place.
So there is anyway to help him get those fraud review/rate away? He asked me but I have no idea how to help him, hope you guys here could help him somehow.

It can be hard to discern what is a valid rating/review and what is not so those items may not get removed @Nghia-Vo with only one report.

As @PaulPavlinovich mentioned above we have a procedure in place for reporting a Local Guide or content on Google Maps. In this case, you simply would need to tag a Google moderator and we will reach out to you via private message with further instructions.
Please understand that we can escalate issues shared by the community but we are unable to share the results of any investigation with you. Content on Google Maps is only removed if it does not adhere to Google Maps Contributed Content policy. So teams investigating this are not taking a measure of the person sharing the content, but rather of the content itself.
