I want to report a local guide that claimed she is part of google review team and threatened to destroy reputation of the organization after being delayed for 10 minutes from her service. The lady was super impolite to the staff (swearing at the staff and Manager), her speech was full of discrimination (Saying I booked a Philipinne lady to do my nails, I don’t want a F***** half Philipina Half Lebanese) walked out swearing and threatening that she is a Local Guide at google and she will destroy the reputation of the place. @AriMar I appreciate your help.

Hi! I’m sad to hear that incident, and I just want to comment that a local guide can write a review about your place and it could be as bad as you can imagine BUT it is just one comment. There is no way she can affect your business. My suggestion is that you let it go. Regards

Definitely one review will not affect our rating, it is just the way it is written mentioning my client employees as “Philippine Lady” and “None Philippine lady”. People have names and shouldn’t be called by their nationalities.

Hi @Bearded_papa it sounds like you are a business user, this forum is for Local Guides, your best avenue for support is via Google My Business https://support.google.com/business/community
That said, I agree that the alleged behaviour of this Local Guide is very inappropriate. It amazes me that some people think that they can behave that way. A Googler will be in touch soon with instructions privately.

Thank you for your response. I am actually a google guide, the business I am talking about is for a friend of mine that I help them with their social media. When I searched online on how to deal with such behavior I was directed to a connect post that recommended to create a new post with the title above. I apologize for any inconvenience this might have caused.

I found a local guide who is just posting the same images again again and that to look like images downloaded from the internet or some other source. Isn’t there a way for Google to know if that person has actually visited the place or not and rejecting the photos or review the person puts out of the place he hasn’t visited.

Ich entdecke immer wieder Accounts, die sich bei genauer Betrachtung als Fake Accounts herausstellen. Sie wurden eingerichtet, um eine positive Bewertung bei einem Unternehmen zu hinterlassen und wurden seitdem nicht mehr genutzt. Teilweise Monate und Jahre nicht.
Leider vermisse ich eine Möglichkeit, den Account direkt melden zu können. Daher möchte ich vorschlagen, dass Google eine Möglichkeit schafft, direkt und schnell Fake Accounts melden zu können.
I discover again and again accounts, which turn out on closer inspection as a fake account. They were set up to leave a positive rating for a company and have not been used since. Partial months and years not.
Unfortunately, I miss a way to report the account directly. Therefore, I would suggest that Google provide a way for local guides to be able to report fake accounts directly and quickly from a certain level (for example, seven).

All the Reviews here are same, it’s like they predefined 15 Reviews and made 250 People to write same reviews. it is a mobile store where they started writing the same review from different customers mobile phones. when an unknown user sees about it he will think that it is genuine. Google should cross verify or delete that reviews/ Ratings. Fake reviews misguide people. i think local guides can play a crucial role here to help Google understand the Right and Wrong Information provided.

If you have found out a business which violates the Google My Business guidelines you may report it following these steps:
- Find the business on Google Maps
- Scroll down and select Suggest an edit
- Tap Place is permanently closed or has never existed
- Select Spam, fake or offensive as the reason
- Tap Submit
Please note that I have merged your post to the relevant thread, since this is the right place if you have stumbled upon frauds on Google Maps. Feel free to take a look at the methods of reporting listed there.
However as it seems you support the Avoid fake, paid reviews for Google Business. Accept reviews for real visitors only idea, please do not hesitate to vote for it.

habe leider einen local Guide mit über 1.900 reviews zu reporten. (Hauptsächlich Bewertungen wie: “Kann ich nicht beurteilen, war noch nie dort.” aber Sterne vergeben. ) Wie muss sich die langweilen…

I search alot but I didn’t find an answer, how to report a local guide user, while I am browsing users comments and answers about few places I came across a spamer user name, all of the account answers and comments is unusful, do anyone know how to report this kind of users?
