You have received 2 helpful answers already, so I would like only to highlight that, while physical perks are no delivered, there are indeed other opportunities, like the event mentioned by @MortenCopenhagen .

As a token of appreciation, we occasionally invite active Local Guides to test new features before they launch, access special perks, or join exclusive events. Because these opportunities are limited and often tailored to specific regions, not every Local Guide will receive every invite.

Honestly I would hot consider hundreds of selfies as high quality. On the contrary, they are against Google Maps’ policies, and will make you more eligible for a ban, than for a reward. What about to delete all of them and to start to contribute “as a real Local Guide”?
