Have a look with your computer, tablet and smartphone and see the difference: https://goo.gl/maps/bTPBwvfhvTB2
Thanks for your help (LG & Maps team) and about this issue because it’s appearing to other 360° made by fisheye and computer,… ![]()

A lot of platforms don’t display the 360° Photospheres ‘actively’. Facebook will, but, Twitter won’t. However, you can use a third-party service to display your 390°’s actively on Twitter, I use Kuula, I’m not sure if other services can provide this functionality on twitter. https://twitter.com/Dorset360Photos/status/889942148686196740 You do have to click/tap the play icon, then the interactive 360° photo will function in the tweet.
Definitely, love the for hire feature!
it is just like Uber all over again! Almost anyone can do it as long as it has some equipment that he/she can work with!
Thanks for sharing this information Google 360 Street view @user_not_found
Great article by @Yohanad and all members have shared their valuable feedback here. I read everyone’s feedback and increased my knowledge to a upper level about 360’ Street view. This type of articles really motivating us. You people are really awesome @Rupert
It is very helpful for our local guides connect.

Create or import 360 photos
You can create or import 360 photos using the Street View app.
Create photos with a phone1. Open the Street View app
.
- Tap Create +.
- In the bottom right, tap Camera
. - Take a series of photos.
- At the bottom, tap Done
. - Your 360 photo is stitched together and saved in the “Private” tab on your phone. The photo is also saved on your phone (unless you turned this setting off).
Create photos with a 360 camera1. Set up and connect your phone and 360 camera. - Tap the blue linked camera
. - In the “Profile” tab, look at the bottom right and you’ll see a blue circle with an orange ring spinning around it each time a new 360 photo has been taken. Don’t disconnect or turn off the camera until you see all your photos in the “Profile” tab.
To demonstrate 3 different types of 360° using various levels of equipment, here’s a couple of my contributions to Google Maps, using various devices.
Using iPhone 5s & Streetview App.
Some minor stitching errors are visible. It is difficult to get a perfect sphere, but not impossible. Though, time it takes to snap all the shots needed, and processing time required to stitch can be a downside.
Using Ricoh Theta S.
Extremely simple, though a little practice may be needed to choose the right settings. This example was using the HDR setting, which takes three shots with varying exposure levels and then combines them, this can cause blurring of moving objects, which can also be useful at times.
72mp DSLR 12 shot stacked exposure.
8mm Fisheye Lens, Panoramic Tripod Head. 4 sets of bracketed exposures. Technically this is towards the top end, the very top requires a more expensive panoramic head to take an additional zenith/nadir shot, though rarely necessary to show either the zenith or nadir, as few will bother to look, so you can use a little blurring in these areas.
Available for hie button is not switching on. How much time it will take after uploading 50 photos?
You have a great skill to take awesome photo from any of the devices. Last setup must have cost you a bunch.
You can check manually for each photo through your street view app itself.
Upload few more as a contingency plan. You should be able to switch the hire button once you have 50 approved photos.
Regards
Amit

Hi @Yohanad Thanks for sharing a great information. nice lake photo. we started to take 360 photos. Thanks again for your help.
@myspirit07 It is not just you. I have 200 maps approved photos and only one shows up in my stats tab. The view count was stuck till yesterday at 179 then jumped to 2.2K. The Google Streetview Group is aware of it and hopes to have it fixed in a week. So you are not alone. Here is the link that gives you more detail. Giving me more time to practice with DSLR and stitching with PTIgui so my level of quality will be better.
