Greenland’s "Quiet" Photos: Why I’m Keeping My Low-View Contributions

I totally agree @WilfriedB and besides while they may not be seen today, they might well pop up 7.5 years later

Halo @NunungAfuah! It is so good to see you here, and thank you for your incredibly honest and heartfelt contribution.

I love that you mentioned being Level 8 for a long time. It’s a great reminder that impact isn’t a race to Level 10. You have been building connections and helping people explore since 2016, and that legacy is worth far more than any badge or points total.

Your point about the “quiet” details—parking spots, menu prices, and toilet conditions—is exactly what makes a Local Guide indispensable. These photos might never get a million views like a famous landmark, but for the person who needs to know if there is accessible parking or what the prices are before they arrive, your photo is the most important one on the Map.

You said it perfectly: “The view count really doesn’t matter”. Even a photo with 0 views is a successful contribution because it stands ready to help the very first person who needs it.

Thank you for staying true to the “connection” side of things for all these years. It’s contributors like you who give the Map its soul!

This statement brings it to the point @AdamGT :+1: Specially when talking about small businesses, which don’t have hundreds of customers daily,
