Thank you for the nice explanation, I have been experimenting with the magic eraser as well and over all I am pretty satisfied with the result. I did have one shot where I tried to remove a car that was in front a brick sidewalk, with a flower bed behind that at the base of glass/metal building. The three different backgrounds was just too much for it to blend.
Also, I have just started using an app called “Blur Photo Editor: blur effect” by R. Fukugawa. It has a good size and hardness selection so you can do some very small areas. You can also get it to save to your regular gallery,
