Thank you @MortenCopenhagen
I will wait for the review process and let you know the outcome!
Thanks for your help so far. I’m still getting the same issue with that one particular review unfortunately. It’s been more than 15 days since I submitted the Google review form, and so I’ve submitted another form.
Do you have any other ideas?
As far as I know, repeat submissions are filtered out, so that is not a viable solution.
I don’t have more tips, but you could try backing up your text, then deleting the review, then waiting 2-3 days before posting it again. I would try that, but I don’t know if it will help.
@LilAussieTraveller and @MortenCopenhagen, two year ago, I was successful with a slightly different approach:
After backing up my original text, I did not delete the review, but edited it and deleted only the second half of the text. If still not published, I repeated the process until a very short rest of the review did get published.
Then I added the old text phrase by phrase until it got rejected again. Now I deleted the last phrase and added word by word. That way I finally found out, replacing “Kartoffel-Chips” with “Kartoffelchips” (just removing the - ) did make it! Obviously, this takes time and is not always worth it.
Another example when I was just ready to use the same approach and opened the review for edit, I noticed the spellcheck did mark a typo. I corrected the typo and saved with any further change and it was accepted!
I might be wrong, but I don’t believe “waiting 2-3 days” will help.
