Thank you, @IoPgr , for your prompt reply. I just learned something new.
As I mentioned to Morten, I use Chrome to switch between the accounts, rather than the individual TAB where can change the account for the Google Application that you use (may it be Gmail, Maps, or other).
So, just to make absolutely clear we are 100% on the same page, here is my question to you.
My Account A:
This is my Local Guides Account. As you can see my Chrome browser (top) is also active on my LG account.
My Account B:
So here I have my Non-LG account active in both Chrome and on Google Maps. After what I learned from you, I have confirmed that my system is set that the default account always matches the account of my Chrome browser. To me, this makes sense so that all my bookmarks and user history are controlled by the browser that I have active.
3rd Option: Chrome = Non LG and Maps = LG account (which is not the default for this browser):
Mixing the two as I understand you were describing. In other words, in this non-LG browser, I have selected Google Maps in my LG account, and this is NOT the default account for this browser…
Question:
Are you telling us that in this 3rd arrangement, Google Maps edits may get allocated to the account of my browser (default), rather than the LG account that I have acted as my Google Maps account? If yes, then this is a serious bug.
