Lavasa is a beautiful private city owned by Mr Sharad Pawar, an Indian Politician. It is also formerly known as “India’s first planned Hill City”. When I visited this City, my whole perception has changed after gazing this city! I was like “what a great beautiful city is this”?

How to reach at Lavasa?

Lavasa is nearly 58km from Pune city, situated in Maharashtra and can be reached within 2 hours through roads that are safe for a drive which has very wondrous view, scenic along roadside. You drive through the road which has very shaded trees and feels so pleasant in that beautiful climate.

“Lavasa” looks beautiful, mixture of both modern and adventurous environment. In my opinion, this place will be trending with the tourists in the near future if same level of cleanliness and infrastructure is maintained @YashBhavsar

Hi @YashBhavsar

Thanks for sharing your photos. The city looks really cool and interesting. Have you visited Lavasa often? I’ve never heard of a “planned city”, but I’m quite curious about it. How can people go and live there?

How high is it in the mountains? Did you stay long there? I like the promenade photo, it looks lovely.
