As we said on your previous post, @Spacewalk , you are not suspended so, how correctly indicated by @MortenCopenhagen , there are no penalisation against your account.
However, I still see a lot of the duplicate photo that myself and @Giu_DiB mentioned in the previous conversation. This is a clear violation of the terms, and a possible reason also for the not visibility of the reviews. Repeating the same things again and again was in any case apparently useless, as we can see that the violation was not completely fixed. Me too, I think the conversation should be merged with the previous one, as there are not apparently improvement in the contributions.
Thanks for reaching out to us! I am glad to see that you already received answers from other Local Guides. I can confirm that reviews can be made private when they don’t comply with our Maps User Contributed Content Policy.
I also wanted to let you know that I just merged your posts together, since they had the same topic so we can keep the forum more organized.
i don’t think you’ll find a solution here.
delete all your reviews and pictures then remove your account from locale guides program.
creat a new one and start again if you really want.
I don’t think this platform is a place for clowning, or trolling. I asked a SERIOUS question. If you don’t have anything serious to say, you can just keep quiet. Leave it to the more experienced, and responsible.
Hi! Thanks a lot for your response. My concern is, I’ll have to spend a lot more time re-writing hundreds of reviews and as you said, Google might or might not fix the issue. I don’t want to take a chance and “hope” it will. I want to know what exactly will happen if I re-do the reviews. Again, I have written a whole lot of non-duplicate reviews and they are made private too. I want to make sure Google will take responsibility, value my time and contributions, and is willing to put those reviews back, before I start investing more time on the platform. To me “suspension” and having hundreds of healthy reviews made private are not different, although Google might think otherwise. It’s disrespectful. I’ll write to them, again.
Please use the tagging tool. Type @ and then select a relevant name from the pop-up window. That way, the respondents will know to whom you are addressing your reply.
Hundred & seventy-two for seven hundred & thirty-five reviews appears to be a reasonable figure.
Trust all were extempore & there weren’t any self likes.
@C_T thanks for the tip. I thought pressing reply to a specific comment would direct the message to its writer. Yes, all of the likes on my posts were authentic. No self likes.
