March is a wonderful time of year to visit Arizona. March/April is when the “snowbirds” begin to head back home. These are our retired winter visitors who come to Arizona from the freezing Northern US states in October and live here until April. So, the crowds tend to thin out at popular destinations around this time of year.

I was following the “snowbirds”, interrupting a six week stay close to Toronto, Ontario :laughing:

Aw thank you for the tag kind neighbor @JustJake. Beautiful idea to showcase the colors that go beyond the stereotypical browns of the desert. I love how you wrote “the final bursts of color” and your line about “a sea of colors (mostly attached to plants that will stab you) … the sun will try to melt your shoes to the pavement” - that made me giggle.
