Dear @OSAMA that’s lovely. You can challenge other LGs to post theirs as well. Cheers!
Wow! That is awesome @SanyaOdare
I so much love it, yours even has the Arewa signature as the embroidery. One love, cheers!
While waiting to wear and show you a costume from my home village, I would like to share with you this picture of me wearing a traditional shirt from Ghana buy during one of my #Wakawaka few years ago.
You looked very good in it @Sagir the Fulani in you popped. You’re only missing the hand staff for “shadi” hahah. Cheers!
Dear @TheEagleEye
We look forward to seeing your contributions in days. Cheers!
Dear @Tosan
That was lovely, you all look beautiful in it. Was that a wrapper you were also tying? I so much love the colours.
WOW! The Red, Black and White give you a perfect look. Those 3 colours must be the same for everyone? Or one chooses according to his fashion tastes? Cheers!
That was awesome @EmekaUlor I love the staff you were holding to further show royalty. I was one time there in Nike Art Gallery, and I tried some traditional wears too. I snapped zillions of photos there, hahah. Cheers!
I so much love seeing traditional costumes, it makes me feel good and inquisitive to know more about people’s culture. You look beautiful @Petra_M with the golden garment and reddish flower head band. Do men wear the same colours?
Thanks @Dr_Mohh !
White and red are the main colors for men and women too.
That was lovely @nkwetche and we look forward to seeing your home village costume soon. I love seeing people in traditional wears.
This is a cool one @Dr_Mohh
I’m from Tehran, Iran and nowadays we don’t wear any traditional costumes. However, I can share the women’s clothes of Ghajar dynasty, which ruled our country from 1794 to 1925.
As you may have realized, this is a big photo with a hole for the head and I am standing at the back!
Wow! @Mehrn00sh the dress is so beautiful, and your face just fits in gorgeously, hahah. I think you changed the date backwards, right?
@Dr_Mohh oops! It was 1794! Thanks! I edited it.
Yes it was a wrapper @Dr_Mohh thanks
