This is really a great initiative @Latika_Malhotra. A special tag Women@LocalGuides reflects the importance and respect we carry for women.
Women’s are the backbone of our family and the society and so is for our Local Guides Community.
As we say in Hindi,
नारी सृष्टि की सृजन और पालन करने वाली है, जो जीवन और समाज की आधारशिला है
next to god we are indebted to women.
I am highly impressed by women LGs and Googlers in this community. Amongst them, I would like to mention two names here.
First one off course @DeniGu for her tireless supporting attitude to LGs. She keeps vigilance on each and every activity LGs perform, provide guidance and help resolve issues (if any). Thank you @DeniGu for all that you do for the community.
A young girl @Gouri.PS who have left the mark on this community by her engaging involvement in various activities. She participates in most of the virtual meet-ups, goes through the posts and interact wisely.

Als ich hier in Connect anfing sind mir nur Männer begegnet, nichts gegen Männer ich mag sie, nur ich habe auch die Frauen vermisst.
Nach und nach sind dann auch ein paar Frauen aufgetaucht und sogar Google Mitarbeiterinnen und Moderatorinnen, wie schön. Ich schätze Frauen und Männer gleichermaßen und mache keinen Unterschied.
Aber trotzdem versuche ich, ohne Aufhebens, Frauen wo immer es möglich ist zu unterstützen .

What a wonderful initiative, Connect is always watching and paying attention to every moment. The world needs to continue to know every day how important the role of women in society is, and how much suffering it took to achieve what we have so far. We certainly need to fight many more times every day and show that we are always stronger and stronger.
Let’s join together, women and friends, to help our entrepreneurs, businesswomen, mothers, friends, partners, and spread respect, care, and affection everywhere.

I would like to specially mention @ShreyaMusings who is the strongest person I have ever met. Her will power, dedication and ability to make people feel inclusive stands out as distinct. The best thing about her is that when we are exploring new places she makes it a point to support the local businesses, chat with the shop owners and even educate them about Google Maps.
