Thank you for sharing this! I recently visited an exhibition on a similar theme and studied about the ocean. Although I don’t live near the sea, I hope that my daily recycling activities contribute to the protection of the ocean.

Tourist come & harm our beaches… Strict action should be taken.
In Mumbai Juhu Beach & Versova beach are cleaned every day by volunteers.
During festival season mang ngo come & clean the beach but daily so many people visit Juhu Beach specially on Sunday. Make it dirty… Early morning & night trucks from government come pick all the garbage but still plastic rappers.
You should see during raining season with water every thing comes back with waves.
This photo is of 2017 I was associated with this NGO cleaning Juhu Beach.
Even when was working school students were trained to clean Beach.

Thank you @RosyKohli for sharing your valuable comment and also for sharing the volunteers program of cleaning the beach. You are correct about the locals and tourists ( Indian) comes to harm/throw plastic. Private volunteer programs are really helping our environment by removing plastics. I think if we include vending machine for giving used plastics ( like seen in Germany), we might lower of possibility of people throwing away undegradable plastics / things. For past months I seen small river get polluted by oil that leaks from pumps that’s used for irrigation ( that also may end up in ocean).
