Great photos, thanks for showing them to us! Just the other day a friend of mine returned from Singapore and she was impressed by the various plants in the Botanic Gardens. I like the idea that the country is aiming to be the greenest in the world. My friend showed me some photos from the airport which is also decorated with a lot of plants. That is amazing!

What else did you see in Singapore? I am eager to hear more about your trip and I am sure that other Local Guides will be interested as well.

Dear @MoniDi many thanks for your comments. I have lived couple of years in Singapore as an expat, so I know the city very well. Even though I have recently moved to Munich with my job, Singapore will always remain like a second home to me :slight_smile:

In my profile there are couple of posts about Singapore like; Gardens by the Bay, best rooftop bars in Singapore list, best dim sum in Singapore list, Butterfly Garden in Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 3.

However I haven’t posted anything about the great Sentosa Beach where I was partying on the weekends, especially on Saturdays. You can swim, catch up with your friends, have couple of drinks, and play volleyball :volleyball: and other sports at this man made beach :beach_umbrella:.

The green looks fantastically rich. It’s nothing like the botanic gardens in Germany. I haven’t seen anything like it.

@BerlinGuyDE I absolutely know what you mean, as I moved from Singapore to Munich after studying and working for a couple of years in Singapore :singapore: … There is English Gardens in Munich but as the climate is not tropical (not even close lol) the green here is not as surreal as it is in Asia… By the way if you come to Munich, drop me a line, maybe we can organize a Local Guides meet up here (vice versa for Berlin).

I am wearing boots :boot: in the office today as it is still cold and raining (almost June :face_with_monocle:)… So much looking forward to sunny days here in Germany :de:
