Best ways to get up Table Mountain Cape Town. (Prices Included 2019)

Yes. I particularly want to visit Capetown and nearby cities. What other interesting places are there?

@JoeBerg , this is why I enjoy being a Local Guide and being active here on Connect. I get to read and see interesting travel posts like yours here! Awesome photos!

I would also add to your list: a fully powered charger and be sure to have enough memory so one can take a gazillion photos. Did you have cell coverage when you reach the top for live streaming besides selfie-taking opportunities? = )

Tagging @FaridTDF @ErmesT for possible travel bucket list ideas.

Cheers,

Karen

@Chikopyo Here are some of my favourites:
Jerry’s Burger Bar.

Jerry’s is a franchise outlet in CT and you’ll find them in a few different spots around the mother city. I’m about the views though. So this was in Blouberg. I recommend trying their cheese balls and their craft rum. Be the pirate of your life

Franschhoek Wine Tram

Franschhoek is about 1 hour 10 min from CT Franschhoek is a wine valley that has become a food and wine heartland of the country. Franschhoek has century old vineyards with the first french settlers dating back to the 17th century. Rich in history and mesmerising. You have to take the wine tram

Lefty’s

All I can say is they have delicious ribs like in the best I’ve had in S.A. Also fish tacos and pickle shots :stuck_out_tongue: Lefty’s is in town on Harrington street, “Hip and low key”

105 Harrington St, Zonnebloem, Cape Town, 7925

Camps bay

Have a beach day. You’ll be in awe. So much to do here as well. Along the main street you’ll find bars look out for Cafe Caprice and have a cocktail and enjoy the sunset.

La Parada Constantia Nek

On Sundays or any other day it’s a vibe. They get a French DJ who plays a few African instruments like the Djembe in incorporates it to modern music with a mixer. His name is DJ Rene

Brass Bell - Kalk bay

Another gem on the southern side of the mountain. You’re are surrounded by ocean, crashing waves and magnificent views. Brass bell has tidal pools all around the venue for a dip on a hot day. A unique dining experience

Hey @KarenVChin ! Thanks so much
I like your idea and you’re soooo right I always need my power bank on adventures. Thank goodness for google drive so I don’t have memory issues anymore

I’m adding the power bank to the list. Thank you

If you’re on the front facing side of the mountain around the cableway area you should have enough coverage for live streaming, around the back of the mountain not so much.

Hi @JoeBerg ,

I just wanted to remind you that on Connect commercial advertising is not allowed and I’ve redacted your post to remove the website of the business place. Please feel free to add the Google Maps link of the location and add a review. Please take a moment to review our Local Guides Policy and check our Programme Rules.
