Be part of the "10Y local guides" podcast episode!

@JanVanHaver which Ai did you use?

Thx for the clip - a really nice answer

The visual was a quick & dirty with Microsoft Designer - had I known the post would be featured on Connect, I probably had taken more time to make something decent.

Meaningful thing to do and I feel awesome to be part of this. @JanVanHaver
Although you know I hate my own voice LOL, I do this for Connect and and Google Maps:)

Done and uploaded:)

Most people say that about their own voice, since they are used to hear it totally different, but in fact that is the way everyone except yourself hears it

The questions need some reflection. I’ll try do record in time to send it.
And I’ll be looking forward to the episode, @JanVanHaver , as I’m curious to hear the answers of other Local Guides.

@curatorofmemory so far only 4 people answered question 3, so an extra one would certainly not be a bad idea

Take your time @YuliiaZa , the deadline is only in 3 weeks. Simply don’t forget to submit

On the other hand: I will send a reminder to anyone who responded here and did not yet submit 1 week before the deadline.

What an awesome idea @JanVanHaver! I love the idea of crowdsourcing answers from the community. Your questions were very thought-provoking and made me reflect on my own experiences. I chose to answer Question 2 and 4- just uploaded my clips where I share my anecdote about an unpleasant experience of burnout that turned into learnings, and my idea behind a “tenure” badge and how it can appeal to and benefit both Guides and the community team.
I’m so excited to hear the other clips in the podcast. Counting down to the episode release to hear from the rest of my fellow Guides! :hugs:

Thx for sending those clips @AZ_2021 . Did you use a professional microphone? They sound very clear

Thank you my kind friend @JanVanHaver. I actually ended up just using my phone’s built in recorder to record it. I found that audio to be clearer than using my laptop recorder. Another thing that helped was having what I wanted to say written, else I would have stumbled over my words.

@JanVanHaver чудова пригода. Я обовʼязково прийму участь. Мені сподобались декілька питань. Виберу одне і запишу відео🙂 чекайте

Great to hear that @Yulochka you can also submit 2 clips if you end up having a hard time deciding on which question to answer :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Thanks @curatorofmemory I have received the clips. As it is an audio-only podcast, I will only use the audio, not the video.

I’m not sure what you did different for the 2nd clip (with -2 at the end), but the sound quality is 10 times better on that on, so could I ask you to record the 1st clip (where the spoken word is sometimes hard to follow due to the wind) with whatever method you used for the 2nd?
