Kenya is a great country to visit and live in its one of the best countries in Africa, Kenya is the world’s 48th largest country by total area. With a population of more than 52.2 million people, Kenya is the 27th most populous country. Kenya’s capital and largest city is Nairobi while its oldest city and first capital is the coastal city of Mombasa where as Kisumu /Port Florence(former name) is the third largest city and a critical inland port at Lake Victoria. Other important urban centers include Nakuru and Eldoretwhich lie in between Nairobi and Kisumu. Kenya’s landscape and general formation is scenic, starting from port of Mombasa to Kisumu its quite an adventure to live up to. The Great Rift Valley is a sure place to visit though it can still be seen as you’re on the Nairobi-Nakuru highway.The Great Rift Valley holds Kenya’s great lakes starting from lake Turkana on the northern side of Kenya, The Valley is part of an intra-continental ridge system that runs through Kenya from north to south. It’s part of the Gregory Rift, the eastern branch of the East African Rift, which starts in Tanzania to the south and continues northward into Ethiopia, these lakes are Baringo, Bogoria, Nakuru, Elemntaita, Naivasha, Magadi, and Natron respectively.
