Hi your welcome, being a local Google I was very surprised how many locations were not identified so I did my best to identify them I am very proud of myself for doing so. I have guided many people to these locations and I love it when people like my photos they tell the biggest story in my area since it is very picturesque town.

why still google map uses old satellite imagery ?
Why does Google Maps neglect many areas or even large cities, we cannot modify them, we cannot add streets or modify them, yet there are very old satellite images dating back to 2004 …
This is my area for example:

Ces questions _réponses sont très intéressantes, mais n’oublions pas que Google Maps n’est pas un guide Michelin, il est très important de montrer, à travers des photos et de courtes vidéos, les paysages, les activités culturelles et sportives, de chaque région, les coutumes… Et après seulement on se pose des questions comme où dormir, où dîner, quoi acheter, quels services ??? C’est ainsi que je procede comme Local Guide niveau 7, pour Google dans mon Pays de Xaintrie-Argentat sur Dordogne Corrèze France.

Hello Mike. I live in Romania, and apart from being a local guide i own a small veterinary practice in my hometown. My question is regarding the review system in google maps , where anyone can basically leave a review without even using the products or services that the business has to offer. In my opinion, this affects the business credibility to potential new custumers. Is there anyway to counteract this random negative review situation?

Có rất nhiều người do không hiểu nội quy để viết các bài đánh giá cho địa điểm trên bản đồ, vì thế đã viết quá ngắn, trùng lặp, không có tác dụng cho người dùng. Khi có nhiều đánh giá như vậy thì tài khoản bị đình chỉ Local Guides. Trong số đó có những người có công giành nhiều thời gian đóng góp rất lớn về chỉnh sửa, tải ảnh, thêm địa điểm, thêm đường v.v . Đã có tiêu chí " Viết bài trên 200 ký tự " sẽ được 10 điểm, cộng 10 điểm thưởng do viết chi tiết nữa là 20 điểm/ 1 bài đánh giá. Vậy nên tôi đề xuất cần có phần mềm tự động “chỉ cho phép gửi bài đánh giá” khi bài viết có tối thiểu 100 ký tự ? Xin cảm ơn.

Thanks @KatieMcBroom and awesome you chose one of my questions and it seemed to resonate a little with Mike. I certainly empathise with the current work processes and explosions of meetings. I find myself declining plenty of them just so I can get actual work done instead of talking about getting actual work done :).
