Hello @Ority and @Kristen_NYC ,
Kristen, you’re a truly dedicated member of the Google Local Guides team!
Thank you so much for graciously addressing all the engaging questions the community and I have had!

I genuinely value every response to our inquiries!
I cannot express enough gratitude for your efforts in answering all my queries and generously devoting your valuable time to assist us!

It’s disheartening that the Guiding Stars event won’t be hosted, yet I fervently hope the Guiding Star pages of 2020, 2021, and 2022, along with the Guiding Star badges, will remain here on Local Guides Connect indefinitely.

I hold immeasurable appreciation for the entire Google Local Guides team for selecting me as a Guiding Star in the year 2021, under the Community Builder category. I’m elated to be a part of the Guiding Stars community!

Regarding my query: “I lead unofficial Local Guides Facebook groups. Is there anything planned for creating a bridge? It would be wonderful to establish a connection between unofficial communities on other social media platforms and Connect.”
And your invaluable response to my query: “I’d love to learn more about what you appreciate and value from the unofficial communities and groups you’re involved in. If there’s something we could incorporate here, please share your thoughts.”
As a member of unofficial Local Guides Facebook groups, you can share your Local Guides Connect posts, celebrate achievements, pose questions, seek assistance for challenges, and offer and receive support from fellow group members. Of course, you can also connect with others who share your interests.
Numerous Google Local Guides here on Local Guides Connect may not be aware of Local Guides Facebook groups, Twitter (X) communities, and more, and they could be actively searching for such platforms.
I propose the addition of a small section on Local Guides Connect, where Google Local Guides who administer communities can link their group/community and provide a brief description of what the community offers.
To ensure the quality of the system and prevent spam, a Googler, Google Moderator, or Connect Moderator should review and confirm that the link and the suggested community description are “spam-free” and appropriate before they’re published on Local Guides Connect.
Moreover, introducing a “share” button alongside the “like” and “comment” buttons under each Local Guides Connect post would facilitate quicker sharing of posts across various social media platforms.
This enhancement would simplify the process of disseminating posts on social media, broadening the reach of Local Guides Connect content.
Thank you so very much for writing this eloquent and remarkable post, Ority!

And immense gratitude for all you do, Kristen!

I truly admire the incredible work by both of you, Ority and Kristen!

Wishing you both an exceptionally wonderful day!
Many warm greetings to you from Hamburg, Germany!
