That’s amazing.

Your post inspiring me.

However, how can you manage your timings, with daily busy routine.

And the responsibility of connect moderator also.

And keep remember all the things like your post links, useful post links from different local guides, googlers, Permalinks also.

It’s looks like so difficult to save this amount of data in mind, every time.

What’s the reason behind this.

Can you share some information regarding to this.

I am assure when you are,

2 things With you.

Accessibility and cleanliness.

I am like and love only clean place.

So you say that it’s my childhood habit to keep house clean and good.

Thanks for publishing this good post.

That’s amazing video.

@KarenVChin

Thank you so much for your words, @Anshu3 . I know that an heavy rain can transform every place in a “little Venice”.

Making Venice fully accessible will be an hard fight, my hope is that they will be able, also with our help, to make it possible

Your 2017 application video have inspired me many times @KarenVChin , remembering me that accessibility issues are not discriminating people with diverse abilities, but also families with children, or elder persons with a small shopping trolley.

The Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute still beautiful, with no one inside. The tourist that are coming now wants to go all to St. Mark Square.

@ErmesT It’s great to see the improvements being made to make Venice more accessible! I hope your city council is taking advantage at this ‘quiet’ time to make as many improvements as possible. In Manchester, a lot of roads are getting re-tarred, new bicycle lanes are being added etc whilst the lockdown is in effect due to reduced number of cars.

And Venice has always been on my bucket list of places to visit. Actually the whole of Italy since there’s so many parts of Italy that is beautiful! But Venice is something quite special with all the canals! One day, I hope I’ll make it there!

Not sure to understand your question, @KishorMali , nor how your question is related to this post, where I want to share my last experience about Accessibility.

BTW, I will try to respond.

I am a Local Guide, Kishor, and I am paying attention of the place where I live.

Being a Local Guide, I like to share my experiences, related both to the Local Guides program and to my places.

My tips to you? Be yourself, share your contents, walk around and pay attention to the world around you.

Don’t write about people you don’t know, persons that you never met. Write your own stories, be original, be creative, because this is what a local guide is.

I started to talk about accessibility from the first beginning of my Local Guide experience, one of my first post was featured on the official Google social channels. Why? Because I write my own contents. Now the creator of the accessibility program is one of my “personal” friends, sometimes we exchange opinions about this, and I never stopped to run my own accessibility program that, again, was featured by Google.

I am surprised you didn’t noticed that.

Being a moderator is not in conflict with this. All the Connect Moderators are Local Guides, first of all.

Memory? No, I simply know the rules, that is very different from remembering the rules

Just let me know when you want to come, @AdrianLunsong . I will be happy to be your Local Guide.

In exchange I will try to reach you in your country, that I left when they started the construction of the Petronas twin towers (yes, long time ago, I know)

@ErmesT Oh, I didn’t know you were in Malaysia before! Things have certainly changed since then! And likewise, it would be my pleasure to welcome you to Malaysia! Although, I will certainly need the help of @StephenAbraham who know EVERYTHING there is to know about Malaysia!

Thanks.

However, I do the mess up of my question with my respond to your post.

(1) My question in previous reply, how you manage all the things, including remember different local guides posts, permalinks and many other things.

And doing these all, with busy routine, it’s difficult.

So, my question is how could you Manage?

However, this my question is didn’t related to your post.

Sorry for that.

(2) My Response to your post.

That I already give in previous reply.

Your post inspired me.

#Now, your question Why I didn’t know about your featured post in google social channels?

Sorry to say,

When I joined the connect (actually active from March 2020),

I try to skip the post that related to accessibility and also accessibility virtual meetups. (I like only physical mertups, that another reason also).

Accessibility is very amazing, Highly needful, Necessary topic.

It’s most important things in daily life, Evergreen and almost Worldwide topic.

Because it’s don’t helps physically, it’s also helps mentally and emotionally.

I want to give my high time and invest my time, for accessibility.

Because it’s having ability to change life and create new opportunity.

So, when I find that I am able to capable and understand this topic accessibility at that time,

I publish my posts and

hosting virtual meet ups.

Sorry to say, in India people don’t care about accessibility.

Only few people know that what is actually accessibility real means.

(Hence, some indians upset with my this comment, but it’s true.)

So, the avoiding of this accessibility it’s real reason of myself.

Pregnant women’s, old people and highly super able people (disable people), and childerns.

Many various Things we need to learn more about accessibility.

Sorry, if I speak any wrong, because it’s my opinion and may be I wrong at some places in my comments, due to lack of knowledge about accessibility.

I will publish accessibility post soon, but it takes and I think more than 2 months. (Don’t able to say exactly time of period)

I will definitely read your featured post.

However, I also like your previous post, about high heights toilets.

I recently publish my post, and try to follow original content.

#Support-Bus Stations.

Thanks again.

In my opinion, @KishorMali , we should write about what we know, so I am surprised when you say that you are trying to use original content. If you write about what you know, you don’t need to try. Same is for accessibility.

I write about this subject because I have personal experiences on this issue, but please don’t feel to be forced to write about something just because it is trendy, cool, or because someone else do this. Writing about issues without any personal experience is exactly like to write about people you don’t know: wrong. Feel free to express yourself, the real Kishor, not the one you want to appear

@ErmesT

Yes, Exactly.

Without any personal experience , and write about anything,

It’s looks like fake and shameless.

And it’s also not thoughtful.

I am trying follow original content. (Not used)

I do

You know that still I am do and did, some mistakes when writting of my Post’s content.

You know that what happened with my collaborative posts.

So some external factors and some personal mistakes also the part of my weakness to original content.

However, I work on this.

And I am also try to don’t publish that topic,

That is trending, Cool, fancy and Many people do the same.

So, Every time I will try to publish different posts with some useful information and change my pattern.

When I find I am completely mature, capable, able and thoughtful about accessibility.

At that time I will start this amazing helpful thing.

Hence, recently I published my post, and try to cover some accessibility points.

I hope you read that. #support-Bus Stations.

Ok, @KishorMali , thanks for the feedback.

Can we now continue about the topic of this thread? I find it personally more interesting than to talk about me.

Thank you

Ok.

Got it.

I reedit my previous comment.

Hi @ErmesT , I guess we haven’t met for a handful of days!
I brought friends to Venice on Saturday 30th May, and we spent a beautiful day! I accompanied them right to Dorsoduro: and from there slowly, bridge after bridge we arrived at Piazza San Marco. One of these friends of mine had a stroller and we actually found only a couple of bridges with accessible ramps. So welcome the willingness of the Municipality of Venice to make its city more accessible to everyone. Both tourists and above all those who live in Venice can take advantage of it and who can therefore take advantage of it every day.
Anyway nothing to say, Venice is always Venice!

Have a good day,
David

I am happy you enjoyed Venezia with your friends @davidhyno . The only fully accessible way is Fondamenta Zattere, in front of Giudecca island, starting from Ponte Molin up to Punta della Dogana .

Some of the ramps are already on Street View, like Ponte Molin, Ponte Longo, Ponte de la Calcina , Ponte agli Incurabili , Ponte de Ca’ Bala , while one is missing: the last one before Punta della Dogana. The one near Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute is here

Thanks @ErmesT for this wonderful information.

This city has always been on my bucket list and I hope I end up visiting this place some day.

The place is historical and equally beautiful. :+1:

Those ramps would be really helpful to a lot of people out there and definitely increase the accessibility of places.
