@MehadeHasan Challenges can also be organised by the community as we want the community to also actively join in in creating new events and activities for everyone. But do chat with the respective Person of Contact so that everyone can coordinate better and not duplicate similar activities!

@K.K.Sharma It’s great to know that you’ve become more active with all the regular meet-ups! It’s certainly a great habit to have to encourage you to keep contributing! I love your idea for supporting small businesses but I would suggest using the months/themes to do so.
Some ideas:
- April: Highlight local businesses that are involved in environmental issues e.g. recycling centres, volunteer groups. Or team up with a local business to do a cleanup!
- May: Highlight local businesses that support accessibility, interview local businesses (and share on Connect) to find out what they are doing to support accessibility
- Aug: Share tips on what type of photos would be best for small businesses, talk about how to approach local businesses to ask for permission to take photos and teach them about the Local Guides program
- Sep: Share tips on how to review small businesses e.g. if the place is hard to find, include info on how to find them, provide useful information that describes the services provided by the local businesses etc
As you can see, there are multiple ways that you can tie in the theme of local businesses to all the other months.
As for community:
I really want to switch the focus inward and to spotlight, us! So it will be a really fun way to work together as a community to come up with a week of posts and activities to promote your own community to the rest of Connect.
