I can imagine that the tourist approach was there. For some reason, Asians absolutely adore Bruges. And to be honest it is a fairytale city ofcourse, very picturesque but couldn’t see myself living there. 
You even had a Belgian ID?! Geweldig!
The weather indeed is crap, and that is an understatement lol. I still didn’t find a proper Italian pizza place in Belgium though, I think I might need to come to Italy again. Will you show me?

Yes agree @Stphn , it is a fantastic city and it was looking like living indeed in a fairy story, especially in the evening or in the snow! … and yes even a Belgian ID card, all officially
