360 camera best choice:

  1. Samsung Gear 360, 2016 model. Chipset, 99$.

  2. Xiaomi Mi 360 best price/quality ratio. 180-200$ + custom meaby( not necesery if you ask about “right” declaration in China).

  3. Insta360 One if you want exta “matrix” function 399$(?).

  4. Garmin VIRB for best picture quality if 799$ is acceptable for you.

YI 360 5,7k is not i officiel dystribution yet I soupouse?

Hello @user_not_found @WetCoastCanuck @Peadar @Robertzoslo @MArymaly

Have any of you or anyone else used the Xaiomi MiJia 360° Panoramic Camera.

I’am looking at it on Ebay right now for around $285 US though don’t want to buy if it’s not good ( even though it does look good ).

I’m still rocking my Theta S. But I’ve heard only good things about the Mijia.

@GenerolHavoc One of the best places to buy the Mijia MiSphere is from GearBest… many of us buy it from there. but always opt for expedited shipment… their free shipment is too slow

@user_not_found It’s my go to camera for 360 photos and videos. The Xiaomi Mijia360

The below is a handheld unedited / untouched photo directly after stitching… (no color correction/ touch up)… native 23.8MP

@LucioV , native app-stiched photo from my MiSphere…

And the below is a non-enhanced 360 video from the Camera, only 2 videos spliced. (no color correction / touch up), native 3.5K (please view in 4K resolution)

The camera comes with 6 axis digital stablization, auto horizon leveling and you will see it has a floating camera effect, invisible camera/selfie stick.

@StephenAbraham

Wow, if those pictures and video are from the Xiaomi Mijia360 I’ll be buying one soon.

@GenerolHavoc Yes, native unedited unenhanced photos… If we do color correction, or use exposure bracketing with HDR, it will be absolutely amazing. The camera also shoots in RAW if you are into that kind of thing.

The video will get an bump from 3.5K to 4K resolution through a firmware update soon.

@StephenAbraham this camera is truly a miracle… amazing results… 23.8 Mpixels???

@LucioV yes, native 23.8 MP. And it shoots jpg + RAW if needed. And it can do up to ±3 bracketing 1/2 stops. (HDR not in app yet, but we can use 3rd party for HDR). For a still camera it’s amazing especially for under USD 200.

you are on initial base…so my personal opinion dont spend extra bugs for 360* camera…Just use street view app and phone camera…All the Best

Hello @StephenAbraham

Just got the Mijia MiSphere today and was testing it out , problem it’s not taking a full mirror sphere and is capturing the sides of the Camera.

FYI = It is fully updated.

@jhvvekariya Do you own the 2016 model or the 2017 model. Glad you are making good use of it.

Anyone can decide which camera is best for themselves, and it doesn’t need to be the same one :slight_smile:

That’s the beauty of technology. :slight_smile:

Hello All

Just been trying to upload the Mijia 360° Sphere Panoramic Camera photo’s to Facebook , though they currently don’t recognize the metadata or even the make and model on Facebook as being 360.

A work around is to change the metadata using a exif editor, either web based or a PC version to edit the Make to a Ricoh and Model to a Ricoh THETA S then download the edited photo and boom, when you upload it to Facebook it will be a 360 photo.
