Same place 17 years ago and today

I visited India back in 2006-2007 much before my first smartphone and even before Google maps started its reviews.

My visit back then was magical and I remembered India as a perfect heavenly place. Last month I had the opportunity to return and visit some of the places I visited 17 years ago again.

Some places have totally changed and are different today and some places look exactly the same.

I was happy to Recreate a photo in the Beatles Ashram (Rishikesh Ram Joula)

Here is a photo of me on one of the meditation chambers on the roof from 2007 and the same spot in 2024 ☺️

This place changed a lot!

It was an abandoned place that we visited 17 years ago, today it is a big attraction with entrance fees, signs, paintings and more. 

Still the same vibe though 😊
