There is a large network of spam business profiles operating in our city. I have been trying to have these profiles removed for some time; however, the success achieved so far has been very limited.
These profiles use fake addresses, many of which are actually residential addresses, despite not being legitimate business locations. This situation is extremely important for us, as these fake profiles unfairly outrank and negatively impact genuine businesses.
In addition, most of these profiles have been created using the same phone number, each time associated with different fake addresses.
Regarding this issue, a report has already been submitted via the Business Complaint Form, under case number 4-4531000040838.
To ensure this matter is handled effectively, we are in need of assistance from an authorized and experienced expert who can help us move this process forward.
Basically, there is no support directly from Google to individual Maps users. But you might get help on this from one of the volunteer product experts in the Google Maps Help Community. They can escalate well documented cases to Google staff. Or you can try here
The trick is often to make it easy for the volunteers to escalate the issues. That means you need to have proper documentation including all the relevant Maps links. Just because you suspect some wrongdoing is often not sufficient.
This is the right thing to do if you have to report a single business, @Selimt
But when I had to report a business that was offering discounts in exchange for five stars reviews I asked for a direct contact, where to upload the evidences. A Product Expert contacted me, and I provided everything privately.
In a few weeks the business was removed from Google Maps.
I suggested you to do the same
