What happened There is an issue with one or more photos or videos that you submitted.

Has anyone else had a longstanding place photograph on Google Maps suddenly flag up as NOT POSTED and a removal request? 

When checking the photo it says ''What happened

There is an issue with one or more photos or videos that you submitted. Your content violates our policies and isn't allowed.''

Both are generic photos of popular tourist destinations and have no issue.  I can't see how to appeal the process or what to do.  

Any suggestions?

Your profile is set to restricted. If you want help to spot what could be the cause, you need to change your privacy setting as explained here temporarily. It can also be done from a Desktop computer. Goto Your contributions, then Profile settings, then toggle Restricted profile.
