My favorite thing about being a Local Guide is that I know its helps so many people. I like that my photos can give someone a better understanding of a point of interest, so they can plan their trip or outing to make it the most enjoyable and accessible for them. I like that my reviews help people make more informed choices. I like that my edits help people get to where they want to go, or discover a new place to go in the most efficient manner. I like that my lists help people find some of the places that I’ve tried, and found to be outstanding in my community. And most of all I like that by detailing the handicap accessibility of each point of interest, I can help a differently abled person make a safe, informed choice about how and where to proceed when planning their day.
I recently moved to Northwest Arkansas, after a month long evacuation from Hurricane Ida had my family living in hotels in 4 states. Now I am exploring and loving my new environment, adapting new ways to Local Guide, and living my motto of “Do What It Takes”.
