Vaibhav's passion is helping small local businesses in Kanpur recover from the pandemic. His way of helping is updating local businesses' information on Google Maps.

In 2021, he contacted and updated information for over 100 local shops because he knows how important accurate information is to his community. Beyond helping others by updating information on Google Maps, he also brings the community together and has hosted more than 20 meet-ups on Connect. Topics include everything from map-editing to geo-walks, and more.

"I am a Local Guide so that I can help others. I can help them by putting their business on Google Maps, so that everyone can reach them easily," he said. "My experience with Local Guides has been very good. Through this, I've met new people and gained friends all over the world."
